Troubleshooting Guide

Experiencing issues? We’re here to help. Most problems are common and can be fixed with these simple steps.

Issue 1: Buffering, Freezing, or Lagging

This is the most common issue and is almost always related to your local network or device.

  • Solution 1: Reboot Everything (The #1 Fix)
    1. Unplug your Internet Router (and modem). Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
    2. Once your internet is back, unplug your streaming device (e.g., Firestick). Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
    3. Relaunch the IPVSAS app.
  • Solution 2: Use a Wired Connection Wi-Fi is not ideal for streaming live TV. Interference from walls, other devices, or neighbors can cause packet loss and buffering. Connect your device directly to your router with an Ethernet cable for a stable connection.
  • Solution 3: Check Your Internet Speed Run a speed test on the device you are using. You need a stable (not just peak) speed of at least 25-30 Mbps for HD streaming. If your speed is low, contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
  • Solution 4: Use a VPN Many ISPs (especially in the US, UK, and Canada) “throttle” or slow down streaming video. This causes buffering during peak hours. A quality, paid VPN service can often bypass this throttling and stabilize your stream.

Issue 2: “Channels Not Loading” or “Login Error”

  • Solution 1: Check Credentials Ensure your Username, Password, and Server URL are typed exactly as they appear in your welcome email. They are case-sensitive.
  • Solution 2: Check Your Subscription Log in to your account on our website to ensure your subscription is active and has not expired.
  • Solution 3: Check IP Lock Your account may be locked to a single IP address for security. If you tried to use it at a friend’s house or on your mobile data, it may be locked. Contact us to have your IP address reset.

Issue 3: Missing Channels or “No EPG Data”

  • Solution 1: Refresh/Update Playlist Go into your IPTV player’s settings (e.g., in TiviMate or IPTV Smarters) and find the option to “Refresh Playlist” or “Update Channels & EPG.”
  • Solution 2: Clear the Cache Go to your device’s main settings (e.g., Firestick Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > [Your App]), and select “Clear Cache.” (Do NOT click “Clear Data” as this will erase your login).
